More About Mission to Reach
In Mexico, the fields truly are white unto harvest, and Jesus is calling workers to reach out in mission work -- to experience the indescribable joy, many blessings and memorable rewards of foreign mission work. "Mission to Reach" offers many ways to serve.
Location:#1 - Cd. Victoria, Mexico
Cd. Victoria, located 220 miles south of Texas Mexican border, is on road 101 in the Mexican state called Tamaulipas. Our facilities are about 10 miles outside of the capital city, which is called Ciudad Victoria. Our Base, Campus and Church are all located here. We have various activities through out each week that the members of our church are involved in regularly.
Location #2: Xilitla, San Luis Potosi, Mexico
Xilitla is located about 450 miles south of the Texas border and San Luis Potosi, Mexico. Xilitla is situated in the Southern Huasteca, in an area that has an average altitude of 1,970 - 3,937 feet above sea level. The municipality of Xilitla, according to the latest national population census, 93.35% have neither drainage nor toilets, 84.22% have no electricity, 78.55% have no running water, and 89.68% have dirt floors. One of the main characteristics of the Huasteca is the presence of Náhuatl and Teneek indigenous peoples. The Náhutal people represent 60% of the indigenous population of the entire Huasteca Potosina. The indigenous population living in Xilitla and its communities is almost completely Náhuatl and most are bilingual in both Nahuatl and Spanish.
If you are interested in taking a short term mission trip where you can experience living in a small Mexican village and enjoy time to mingle with the people and play with the children, then Xilitila is the place for you. This is a great opportunity to work in fields that are ready for harvest.
