Our Ministry
Organizing Home Cell Groups
Home cell groups are modeled after the first century church mentioned in
the book of Acts. There are no church buildings, no sound systems, no paid
clerics. There are just groups of 12-15 people who meet, worship, fellowship,
and eat together in their homes. In Mexico, Mission to Reach often deals
with a shortage of funds for traditional church growth. Home cell groups
seem to be a great way to have church without big buildings and other conveniences.
Home cell group members regularly participate in interactive Bible studies
where, by guidance of the Holy Spirit, they learn and discover truth together.
This, then founds a basis of intimacy that grows into accountability within
a loving community.
The home cell groups provide a warm, friendly atmosphere that allow people to share their problems and find support and love through fellowship. God has been blessing the cell groups which are continually growing. Mission to Reach has also just finished building a porch for a new cell. Please keep praying for these cell groups.
